The Closed Loop Home Mini Audit
This takes about five minutes.
There is no score and there are no right answers. Read each question and notice the ones that make you immediately think, Oh. I do that all the time.
-
What do you repeatedly get back up to retrieve after you've already settled somewhere?
A charger? Water? A blanket? Socks? A remote?
Repeated retrieval can be a clue that the support and the need live too far apart.
-
Is there a pile that comes back in exactly the same place no matter how many times you clean it?
Instead of asking only, How do I stop making this pile? ask:
What keeps happening here?
-
Is there a room, task or area you consistently avoid because something about being there feels unpleasant or difficult?
Consider lighting, sound, temperature, seating, visual clutter, smell, texture and how much work it takes to begin.
-
Which home systems work beautifully when you have energy and completely fall apart when you don't?
What would a lower-effort version look like?
-
Are there things you need visible so you remember them—but seeing everything also becomes overwhelming?
You may not need “open storage” or “closed storage.”
You may need a better balance of visibility and containment.
-
What object do you repeatedly carry from one room to another?
Would an inexpensive duplicate remove that repeated step?
-
What activity do you genuinely want to do but avoid because setting it up—or cleaning it up—feels like too many steps?
What could stay grouped together?
-
Where in your home does time seem to disappear?
Is time visible there, or are you relying entirely on yourself to keep track of it?
-
What workaround technically works—but annoys you every single time?
A solution being technically possible doesn't necessarily mean the environment is working well.
-
When you're overwhelmed, tired or overstimulated, where does your home actually help you recover?
If the answer is nowhere, that's useful information too.
YOUR FIRST CLOSED LOOP
Don't redesign your house today.
Pick one problem that repeats.
Ask:
Where does the need happen?
What extra step keeps happening?
What is the smallest environmental change that could remove that step?Try that first.
That's where I come in.
In a Personalized Closed Loop Home Audit, you show me your actual home and tell me what's happening.
I review the larger patterns, go deeper on up to three priority friction zones and return a private video analysis plus a concise action roadmap showing what I would change and why.
No live consultation required.
CAN YOU SEE THE FRICTION BUT NOT THE SOLUTION?
Not ready? Your return link is already in your email.
